Unidirectionally expanded tapes
Unidirectionally expanded PTFE tapes acquire a microporous structure during the manufacturing process, which gives them exceptional mechanical properties. For easier attachment to the flange surface, a self-adhesive tape is placed on one side of the tape. Unidirectionally expanded ePTFE tapes maintain sufficient thickness as surface pressure increases to continue protecting the sealing surface and prevent component damage. Even under extreme operating conditions, they exhibit minimal width changes, ensuring the tightness of the joint. Sufficiently high pressure in the sealing area is achieved using unidirectionally expanded ePTFE tapes even with low linear forces. This ensures safety even in sensitive flange connections.
The material is resistant to aging, flexible, has high chemical resistance (except elemental fluorine and molten alkali metals).
APPLICATION
Sealing flange connections, chemical apparatus, manholes, ventilation ducts, and expansion joint flanges. Suitable for sealing steel and aluminum flanges.

INSTALLATION METHOD:
Clean the flange surface of any rust, deposits, and remnants of old sealant. Degrease the surface, remove the protective tape, and apply the material to the medium side in front of the holes. Seal any pitted areas with a piece of tape. Create a seal by overlapping the tape.
