Spiral gaskets
Spiral seals – these are resting seals where the sealing element is a steel strip with graphite or PTFE applied. Cardboard or another sealing material can be used upon request. This combination forms a sealing ring. The strip is intended to provide the material with the appropriate elasticity, while the graphite or PTFE is intended to compensate for any unevenness and ensure high tightness. Depending on the application, the seal may have additional inner or outer steel rings, or both.
