Polyurethane
Polyurethane is a material obtained by adding diisocyanates and polyols. By varying the proportions of diisocyanates and polyols, we can obtain products with different molecular weights, which directly affects the chemical and physical properties of the resulting polyurethanes.
This elastomer is characterized by high operational parameters. Its wide range of properties makes it a highly versatile material. Polyurethanes maintain flexibility over a wide range of hardnesses. Their high mechanical properties and high chemical resistance mean they are replacing traditional materials such as rubber, metals, and ceramics.
We offer both semi-finished polyurethane products (plates, rollers, bushings) and finished products (forms, clutch inserts, scrapers, screens, sieves, etc.).
Physical properties:
Hardness: 35-98 Sh A,
Density: 1.1-1.28 g/cm³,
Tensile and tear strength,
Excellent vibration damping,
Resistance to chemicals, including solvents, acids, and petroleum derivatives,
High abrasion resistance, many times greater than rubber,
Weather and aging resistance,
Good electrical insulation,
Operating temperature: up to 80°C,
Suitable for environments with a pH of 5-12.
Application:
Machine components (clutches, press bumpers, anti-vibration pads, etc.),
Road industry (equipment for soil compactors and paving machines),
Conveyor belt scrapers,
Lining chutes exposed to abrasion.
